In Oct 2009 was the year i really got interested in longboarding in depth and the scene in NYC. I was at the corner of central park close to Columbus Circle ready to longboard with my Best friend Irmy finishing breakfast when a group of longboarders came to us and asked us to join, if we wanted. Of course we took the offer. It not like everyday you met a group of longboarders to skate with. All i kept thinking is how we picked a awesome spot to eat to met these guys. I was part of that skate session "The Thursday push" and I'm telling you these guys know how to push. I had hard time staying with the group they were fast. That was the first time i skated at Central Park. If you never longboard in Central Park, it is a must! After the push they invited us to come back on Halloween. I came back dressed as a Mime as you can see in 2:26 and 3:49 in the video. It was one of the best session i ever had. The city is a jungle and i love it. Dodging cars and people is fun to do in the city.
