Down hills in Florida and the group i skate with TLS.

Ever wonder how i look like when i'm filming going over 30 MHP and filming? at 1:05 you see just that. One of my fellow skater friend Marc had a his go pro when we went out there some time in Nov. You see him in my last video i posted, but i never got to see his side of the video till now. He did a good job on this video. Really makes me miss Skating with Tampa Longboarding Society. Well Enjoy

Tampa Longboarding Society in Brooksville

I swear this day felt like a reunion for me it has been a good few months since we all got together. The day was cold when we got to Brooksville and we got there around 8am. It looked like it was going to rain which it did. The time we got to the spot the roads were wet. Lucky i had my leather which i was testing out cause i never worn them. I wasn't going to wait till i got to Puerto Rico to find out how they feel when i skate. We all knew it wasn't a good idea to skate DH when the roads were wet. That just an accident waiting to happen, so we all went to this one big hill and slid. We were all having fun with the wet roads. Then we noticed the sun was coming out and in due time the roads were drying up. The rest of the day was a beautiful day. Here the video from that day Enjoy.

Florida Gathers to Hit Up Clermont, Florida

By far the best Clermont session yet. 20 + skaters showed up from all over Florida.
Skaters from Miami, Orlando, Tampa, longwood, Port St Lucie, Frostproof, and Sebring. I been getting really good. I have improved in my tuck and fellow skater also has noticed the improvement. My speed has increase cause of my improved tuck.
It hasn't been a year yet and i can't imagen how my life DH would be in a couple of years. Well enjoy the video. Im the one wear a red shirt, fullface, and white cyclops sunglasses :D

Sugar Loft Mountain and Grassy Runs.

Another Clermont Video. I'm the one in a red Bustin shirt. I fell pretty bad that day as you can see my right arm is covered. There was a good reason why i fell though. I try to skate Sugar loft mountain that day. You know that hill that has sketchy pavement and you got to skate the wrong side of the road to have a decent pavement to ride on lol.  That hill easily can take you as fast as 50 MPH. I thought i had it under control, but then i start drifting and then got the wobbles. Fell pretty bad. My arm paid the price with deep road rash. At least i survive to see another day. My fellow skaters said it looked like i was break dancing when i fell. It took me a while for me to completely stop. Well Enjoy the video!!!

Clermont, Florida Awesome Session.

On August 11th 2010 a group of longboarders got together from all over Florida. Some from Miami, Tampa, Gainsville, Orlando, and of course I from Sebring. We all got together at Clermont, FL to skate what Florida got to offer. Which were 45 + MPH hills. We started at 9:30am and skated till 6:30pm. We all had fun that day. Here is the Video of that days fun. For those who don't know what bump drafting is. It means when a rider is behind another rider drafting him and pushing him from behind. This summer was all about that and this video proves it.

My First Miami Garage Race.

On July 31, 2010 I joined my first Garages Race in Miami. Hosted by the Miami Longboarding Crew.  I got there around 8:30pm a bit early. As more people started to arrive i noticed it was going to be a good race. I was there to represent Tampa Longboarding society. The race started around 10:30pm and their was alot of spectators and 20 Racers. I placed 6th places. I could have a better outcome if i didn't have to do the same slow garage twice. The race was based on points 1st place get 4 points, 2nd places get 3 points, 3rd get 2 points, and 4th get 0 points. The race had 1 bridge and 5 garages.  Got first on the Bridge (1st heat) the next 2 heats i got fourth the next 2 heats i got first and the last heat i got third. Race ended at 3:30am alot of prizes were given out. Had an awesome time cant wait for the next event. ill be ready for sure.

An hour later the race began. I'm not much of a pusher, but i did complete the race. It was fun too bad i wasn't in shape for it. Afterward their was a get together with food and all. The Bustin Crew were giving away prizes and Stickers. They were also announcing the winners. The event also made it to the news check it out.

My First Outlaw!

On May 29th I joined the Tampa 0utlaw Push Race. The race was going to start at 10pm. It was a fun night and the race was about 6 miles. Not a lot of people showed up. There was about 12 people that joined though. Along the race you had to pick up checkpoints. The first one was a playing card underneath a bridge. The second check point was to locate a building and describe it. The third check point was an interesting one. The last check point was to locate one of the guys throwing the event and pick up this heavy piece of cement. I didn't get first, but I did get third. Also that night I won some gravity high grade wheel 79a 76mm. After the race we all hit up the local Tampa downtown garage. It was a fun and exciting night. Their is no video, but their a picture as soon as I get it ill post it here.

Brooksville, Florida. TLS session

This is by far the best sessions i had, but also a realization. When we got to our first spot I went down a hill had a bit of speed wobble and drifted, so i changed my wheels. While i was doing that one of the guys fell and i his face road rashed. He was in bad shape, but not enough for a hospital run. I give Ian credit cause after a hour he was feeling a bit better and started skating with us a bit. After seen what happen Bobby and I started using our Full Face Helmets. I suggest anyone that is getting into DH to invest in a Full Face Helmet.

My first DH Race

My first race i didn't do so good. I didn't have the spirit in me in this race, but i did learn a lot and had a good time. As you can see in 1:54 on both video that was my heat. Funny how those two video 1:54 was my heat. I should had put on my grippe wheels cause as you can see i went straight to the hay bails.

Here is another video of Tally made by the TLS the crew. The crew i usually skate with the most and yes we did sleep in a car grrrr. Due to the fact that every hotel in Tally was booked.

My First Lakeland, FL Session

When were not at a garage were some where looking for a hill and that what we did. Thanks with the help of the Lakeland Crew. This was an awesome day, but also a lesson as well. Lesson was to give your fellow rider a warning when you are going to bust a slide. At the end of the video you will see Bobby and I going down Peterson together. We were the first ones to go when we got to the bottom i wasnt sure what he was going to do till it was too late. We were ok after that and enjoy the rest of the awesome day skating.

Mega Ramp Is No more.

RIP is all i can say to this spot known as the Mega Ramp. This is where we learned to respect the spots and not to take advantage of it. We no longer can skate here, but It was a good place for Longboarding and sliding. Mostly sliding in my part. The Mega ramp was where i got comfortable with my slides. We all had a good time here. At this time April was getting good herself. She been pushing herself to get where i am today skill wise.

Stinky Stinky. Friends always told me not to skate stinky.
What can i say i was once a noob too.

Here is a video Kyle Lenz made for the Mega ramp.
